Pull up a Chair and Save Land!
 EpicPromise Chairs for Charity

Kickoff the 2015/2016 season by celebrating all the great organizations that make our community special at EpicPromise's Chairs for Charity! Chairs from the beloved Motherlode chairlift have been transformed into beautiful works of art by local artists that represent 18 local participating nonprofits. Swing by the Kimball Art Center between December 7 and 10 to cast your vote for your favorite chair design. The nonprofit organization with the most "community votes" will receive an additional financial gift from EpicPromise!

Summit Land Conservancy is thrilled to present a chair that has been redesigned into an original "chairlift bed" by the multi-talented duo Mary Beth and Mark Maziarz. "I Dream of Open Space" is a full sized bed that can be suspended from your bedroom ceiling. The bed also features custom made bedding AND a brand-new mattress donated by our great local sponsor The Mattress Firm. Imagine slipping away into dreamland while floating in this amazing piece of furniture! To see our chairlift bed in person, stop by the Chase Bank building located at 1650 Park Ave right next JANS. It will be on display in the bank lobby Monday-Thursday this week!

We will be offering a LIMITED number of tickets to the Chairs for Charity Community Grants Reception on Thursday, December 10 from 5:00 - 7:30 pm at the Kimball Art Center. If you would like to attend and bid on our "I Dream of Open Space" hanging bed, please RSVP to jennifer@wesaveland.org.  Space is limited at this event, and entrance is by ticket only. If you can't attend but would like to support open space by bidding, let us know and we can arrange a "bidding buddy" for you. Bids will start at $1,500 for this one-of-a-kind bed, or you can buy "I Dream of Open Space" NOW for $20,000 by contacting jennifer@wesaveland.org.
