Do you love to walk, hike, or bike around Park City and Summit County? Summit Land Conservancy is always looking for extra "eyes" on our protected open spaces. Additional observations and monitoring reports help us to address issues on the land, and steward our conservation easements more efficiently. This Friday, don't miss out on the Adopt an Easement Orientation at McPolin Farmlands. Volunteers interested in adopting their very own conservation easement will learn more about the properties protected by the Conservancy, and be taught how to properly monitor the land. Stewardship volunteers will also be trained on how to use GPS mapping applications on their smart devices to better facilitate the monitoring process. Please contact caitlin@wesaveland.org to RSVP for this event, or for other inquiries.
