Volunteer Mailing Party!
There's a lot to celebrate this month! We celebrate May flowers gracing us with their presence. We express gratitude to our wonderful mothers, and the soldiers who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. We celebrate a reason to drink margaritas and eat delicious foods, and an excuse to have Star Wars movie marathons.
At Summit Land Conservancy, we choose to celebrate the anniversary of our Annual Report! It's a time to look back at last year's conservation highlights and accomplishments and rejoice. Help us spread the great word about what we do, and how YOU continue to save Summit County's open spaces! We are looking for willing and able volunteers to join the Annual Report Mailing festivities May 26 and 27. Bring a neighbor, bring a friend, or bring your favorite furry companion. Volunteers are needed to stamp, stuff, seal, hand write envelopes, and bring plenty of good cheer!

WANTED:
Masters of Outdoor Recreation
Are you an outdoor enthusiast who also enjoys teaching children the value of nature's beautiful open spaces? Summit Land Conservancy is recruiting volunteers to help chaperone our new and exciting "Outdoor Explorers" Summer Camps. We are offering two week-long sessions that will provide a variety of outdoor adventure experiences complemented by unstructured free play. This is our first summer hosting these one-of-a-kind camps, and we are pleased with the high level of interest we've received from the community. Currently, both sessions are completely filled with a wait list that continues to grow!
Through these camps, we hope to show children the splendor of wild, open spaces and create passions that foster a new generation of land stewards. Children are the future of conservation, and we invite you to help show them the way!
