Liquid Gold!

There's nothing better than a good, cold glass of ale after a hard day's work. Wasatch Brew Pub is the place to go and enjoy that tasty beverage you crave at the end of the day! Summit Land Conservancy has collaborated with Wasatch Brew Pub to bring you the one and only Clothing Hoptional Wild Hops Ale. Thanks to our hard working volunteers, 42.5 pounds of wild hops were harvested on protected open space, and brewed in this special edition beer. Clothing Hoptional is now flowing on tap at Wasatch Brew Pub's two locations. A dollar from each glass sold will benefit Summit Land Conservancy, and help us to save more land and hop habitat!

On October 23rd, Summit Land Conservancy and Wasatch Brew Pub are throwing a "Hoppy Hour" party from 6-9pm to showcase Clothing Hoptional, so all can come and savor the wild hop flavor. Better still, there is no cover charge for "Hoppy Hour" and ALL proceeds from this event will be donated to the Conservancy, so be sure to spread the news far and wide. The more the merrier! There will be light appetizers provided, and Clothing Hoptional swag available for purchase. Due to limited space, you must RSVP at heleena@wesaveland.org before attending. Volunteers may be needed to help with checking in guests, and selling merchandise. If you are interested in helping please contact Caitlin Willard at caitlin@wesaveland.org. This is an event not to be missed!

SPECIAL THANKS
Thank you to the volunteers who helped make the Moon Shine Party fundraiser a shining success!

Take a Stand to Save Land

Our favorite "man" with a mustache and cowboy hat needs your help getting the word out about Live PC Give PC on November 7th. Boot Guy is looking for volunteers to paint the town of Park City with posters promoting his mission and the value of open space! It is important to hang these posters up around town soon to circulate information and Boot Guy's message for the big day of Live Give.

If you are an open space lover and you enjoy recreating on properties protected by the Summit Land Conservancy, you are just the person Boot Guy needs! On November 7th, he will be looking for people to prance around protected open spaces with signs, inspiring people to give donations. Live Give only comes once a year, and a $10 donation counts as YOUR vote for open space.

If you are interested in helping with the Live PC Give PC campaign, please email Caitlin at caitlin@wesaveland.org.
Office Help Needed

Do you like working with lively, enthusiastic, environmentally conscious individuals? Summit Land Conservancy is ALWAYS looking for someone to help with administrative tasks around the office. This is a great opportunity to build your resume, meet new people, or just get involved with an important local cause. Duties would include mailings, donation processing, and other fun activities! We realize this might not be the most glamorous job, but it is essential so that we can stay focused on saving land. Learn more and sign up here.
