A big toast to our volunteer graphic designer, Allison Cook, for designing our beer label. Park City's open spaces and mining history, Deer Valley's red light district, and the star of our open space beer, local wild hops, served as her creative inspiration.
About the Brew
"Clothing Hoptional is an unfiltered Golden Ale. The aroma has a hop character that is light citrus, piney, floral, and grassy along with light bready and caramel malt notes. The flavor follows the aroma with citrusy-floral and grassy hop flavors upfront followed by slightly sweet bready, caramel and honey-like malt notes, finishing with a slight bitterness to balance the beer out nicely. It is a nice, sessionable medium body 22 IBU beer."

About the Collaboration
Wasatch Beers brewed Clothing Hoptional in collaboration with Summit Land Conservancy's Hops Hunters Program. Throughout the summer, the Conservancy led hikes on open spaces it protects hunting for local wild hops, descendants of plants that German immigrants brought to Summit County in the 1800s.
