The Summit Land Conservancy is Still Hunting for Hops!

This Sunday, July 27th we will be meeting at 9:30 a.m. in the White Pine Touring parking lot (on the Rail Trail side) located at 1790 Bonanza Dr. We will be searching for wild populations of hops along the historic Union Pacific Rail Trail and learning about the rich history of the area. In addition to searching for hops we will be wearing our bird-watching hats as the Rail Trail borders wetlands and marshes. If you have a pair of binoculars, bring them along and we will hopefully catch sight of a few of the bird species that call Utah home.

As always, dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash and friendly! Be sure to wear sunscreen and bring water.

If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail Heleena Sideris, the hike leader. For directions on the day of the hike, you may reach Heleena via telephone at 435-640-6992.
