2014 WILD & SCENIC FILM FESTIVAL
HOSTED BY SUMMIT LAND CONSERVANCY
THURSDAY, APRIL 24, 6:30-9:00 PM
JIM SANTY AUDITORIUM
Hello,

Please join us at Jim Santy Auditorium on Thursday, April 24, 6:30-9:00 p.m., for our 6th annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival.

SYRCL's Wild & Scenic Film Festival is a call to action! The films illustrate not only the challenges facing our planet but the work communities are doing to protect the environment and the places we love. The stories give us a sense of place and what it means to be responsible stewards of the earth.

We have selected 13 environmental and adventure films ranging from 2 minutes to 27 minutes in length for this year's festival.

From a story about a boy catching his first fish to a visual poem about the joy of air, from a recreation of a legendary 1906 expedition to a profile on a National Geographic Adventurer of the Year, from a hilarious, tongue-in-cheek examination of the plastic bag problem to a visually stunning exploration of a river that has not kissed the ocean in years, these 13 films will inspire, educate and challenge you and, quite possibly, change your world.

Arrive early to sign up to win fabulous door prizes! Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are available online or at the door: $10 adults, $5 students.

We hope to see you there!
