STONERS AND SUMMIT LAND CONSERVANCY PROTECT 86 ACRES OF FARMLAND!

DICK AND GAYE STONER
Hello!

Today the Summit Land Conservancy and locals Dick and Gaye Stoner signed an agreement to protect 86 acres in Eastern Summit County. This deal fulfills the Stoner's 30-year dream to preserve the property's open spaces and scenic views for future generations.

The conservation easement being placed on the property will permanently protect agricultural land, which supports the Stoner's Dog Holler Farm, scenic views, wildlife habitat and water quality in the Weber River Watershed.

We could not have done it without the support of our members. Thank you!

Critical gifts from Vail Resorts/Canyons Resort, the George S. and Delores Doré Eccles Foundation, the Richard and Shirley S. Hemingway Foundation, the Utah Division of Water Quality, the Rocky Mountain Power Foundation and private donations allowed us to access over $165,000 in federal matching funds. The Stoner's also contributed a significant portion of the project's cost by agreeing to reduce the sale price.

Donate here if you would like to help us preserve more open spaces.

The money we raise here stays here to protect the landscapes we all cherish.

Thank you for your continued support!

The Summit Land Conservancy Team
