This Monday the 30th will be harvesting the hops we found during our Hops Hunting Hikes this summer!  We need volunteers to help us gather the hops that Wasatch Brewery will use to create a special beer to benefit the Summit Land Conservancy. We will meet at Wasatch Brewery on Main Street at 9 am (park in China Bridge), harvest hops above Old Town, take the hops back to the brewery, eat lunch and then remove the hops cones from the bines. Please plan on attending rain, snow or shine, dress appropriately for the weather, bring gardening or work gloves, gardening clippers if you have them and, most importantly, be prepared to have fun! Your hard work will be rewarded the first week in November when we tap the kegs for a special celebration of open space.
