Public-Private Partnerships Spur Downtown Development

The Alliance for Economic Development of Oklahoma City, in partnership with the City of Oklahoma City, manages programs that seek to catalyze urban redevelopment projects. From housing, office and commercial space - to hotels, parking and cultural destinations, these programs seek to guide high-quality growth for the urban core. Featured below is an overview of projects that The Alliance for Economic Development has supported through one of the public entities it provides management services to including the Oklahoma City Economic Development Trust, Oklahoma City Urban Renewal Authority and the Oklahoma City Industrial and Cultural Facilities Trust.

Marion Hotel

A 282-space parking structure in Midtown will support the redevelopment of 1100 and 1101 N. Broadway into office and retail, and conversion of the historic Marion Hotel into upscale apartments.
Mideke Building

The Mideke Building in Bricktown is being converted into class-A office space for the new Tapstone Energy Headquarters.
Century Center

The Century Center is being redeveloped into the new headquarters for The Oklahoma Publishing Company, with additional retail space.
