Alaska Woman May Get Same-sex Work Comp Death Benefits
An Alaska woman may be entitled to workers' compensation death benefits after her same-sex partner was murdered on the job, the state's highest court has ruled. The court also said that the Alaska Workers' Compensation Act violated the claimant's constitutional rights. Read More

Nurse Can Proceed With Workplace Injury Lawsuit Against Kaiser
A federal court dismissed most of a nurse's sexual harassment and discrimination lawsuit, but not her claim that Kaiser failed to accommodate a workplace injury. The lawsuit alleged 15 causes of action including age and race discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, and failure to accommodate and engage in the interactive process. Read More
