AOC 2015 Wrap Up

We just wrapped up our 16th annual Adagio Opportunity Conference!

Held at the prestigious Westin Bayshore Hotel, on Vancouver's spectacular downtown waterfront, we broke another attendance record this year, increasing by 9% over last year's numbers.

 

Highlights

Keynote speaker Ward Blatch from K2 Enterprises, reviewed Microsoft Windows 10 in terms of features that accounting departments will appreciate. Ward shared his insights into data security, and covered his list of potential threats to company data, while indicating the simple things we should all be doing to protect ourselves more effectively. Al Hahn, executive director at the Association of Support Professionals, presented to our Adagio consultants on best practises in design of support plans and management of customer relationships. We showed our new Adagio Cloud product with Adagio Manager, an application that lets you decide when upgrades should be installed.

With a gamut of instructional content and engaging participants, we delivered the help our clients need to become more productive and proficient in Adagio. 

When not in-class, our attendees enjoyed some relaxing downtime networking and catching up with the wonderful surroundings of Vancouver's harbour side amenities. Event night was spent on a glorious evening cruise around Vancouver's Burrard Inlet and False Creek with picture postcard views, perfect weather and tastes of BC's finest coastal culinary delights.
A huge thank you to all that attended and participated in the conference this year, we hope you learned something new, met interesting people and enjoyed yourselves. The planning of AOC 2016 is already under way and we hope to see you there again!

Latest Adagio 9.2 Releases

What's new?


Since last November, we have been releasing the new 9.2 versions of Adagio modules, including Ledger (2014.11.20) and MultiCurrency (2014.11.21). Below is a list of the latest Adagio Modules which include improvements requested by you to enhance performance and usability:

 

Upgrades:

 

A number of generic features are featured below for the following upgrades, click on the link to view individual modules new features for more details:

  • Reports have been converted to Crystal Reports 2013, greatly improving the export to Excel.
  • Adagio module toolbar allows one click launch of an Adagio module.
  • Grids may be "banded" with a User Selectable color and banding frequency. Banding may be chosen to replace Grid Styles by user.
  • Edit grids display the total number of records, as well as a count of the displayed records when a Filter is active.
  • Filters can now be displayed in Style Priority sequence.
  • Logs user activity within the module. Audit logs may be viewed with GridView.

Adagio PurchaseOrders 8.1B 

 

Effective May 31, 2015, Softrak will no longer be providing support for this module. Please contact your dealer to upgrade to Adagio PurchaseOrders 9.2A at your earliest convenience. 

 

Adagio Checks 

 

Adagio Checks has been discontinued. Effective June 30, 2015, Softrak will no longer be providing support for this module. Adagio clients with a registered Adagio Checks who were on an Upgrades Plan have already received a copy of Adagio Payables.
