BRIDGING THE GAP BETWEEN THOSE IN NEED OF ASSISTANCE

AND THOSE WHO WISH TO PROVIDE THAT ASSISTANCE

Thank You From Corey, Sarah & Gage

Wow what a great year last year was. The amount of people whose lives were significantly touched and changed by Taking it to the Streets and therefore by you, was just incredible. Most of you followed our journey with Corey and his family and we are so very glad to say they are doing great. The outpouring of help amazed even us. Here's a short video sent from Corey and Sarah showing what can happen when we all come together to help:

Thank you
Thank you

We here at Taking it to the Streets want you to know how important your support and partnership is to us and to our community.  In this video you'll meet some of the organizations and individual's who rely on the services that "we" (you and this ministry) together have provided to our community for fourteen years.  Watch and be blessed.

Now here's the thing, all we do for the community is in great jeopardy. We are currently facing a financial mountain that we need to overcome to continue what we do. Just think of the thousands of people and families that will go without food and daily necessities if we don't somehow pull thru these trying times? What about all the men in the recovery centers? What will become of them. How about the 20 + other organizations that receive over 1 ton of food each and every month from us, how will this affect them? There is also the thousands who are introduced to Christ thru this ministry, to quote the commercial, Priceless! Friends we are providing a great service to God and our communities and we really need your help in order to continue doing so. In the last two months we have had some unexpected expenses. Things like building a/c units going down, walk in freezer failures, our box truck broke down and the transmission went out in one of our other vehicles. Needless to say these all cost a substantial amount of money to fix and all are very important to our daily operations. The good news is all are fixed, the bad news is that we are way short of the amount we need to bay all our bills this month. (March) Paula and I have forgone our monthly paycheck to help offset the deficit but still we are over $4500.00 short. We have a new Management Co. that does not really know us and what all we do. Because of that and the fact that we are no longer on a lease but a month to month basis, we could lose our building in as little as one month. I know that sounds desperate and like a lot of money but it's not a lot for God! If we all just do something, I'm quite sure we'll be fine. We do however need your help If you believe in us and what we do, please send your tax-deductible contribution as soon as possible so we can keep on serving others. Remember every little bit will help, whether it's $10.00 or $10,000.00 it will go right into our operating budget and help us overcome this hurdle.
