The Women's Fund is committed to strategically addressing community needs, and our current focus is to improve economic security for females of all ages.  We are excited to announce our grantee partners for the 2012 Strategic Grant Cycle:

Applicants Sought for Mother/Daughter Savings Program

Low to moderate-income mother/daughter applicants (or mother/son applicants) are invited to participate in a financial education and savings program.  The Her Money program promotes increasing savings through an incentive-based matched savings program, financial education and the power of the mother/daughter relationship.  It is offered through Goodwill's Financial Information and Service Center (FISC), with support from the Women's Fund for the Fox Valley Region and Fox Communities Credit Union.  Applications are available at the FISC office at 1800 Appleton Road, Menasha, or call 920-886-1000.  For more information, contact Ginny Schroeder at 920-968-6336 or gschroeder@fisc-cccs.org.  The deadline to apply is January 30.

Extend Awareness Campaign Raises Funds

The Extend Awareness campaign is a community wide GO PINK celebration, sponsored by Salon CTI.  Money is raised by purchasing pink hair extensions during the month of October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  This year the campaign had a Women's Fund twist.  A portion of the proceeds were donated to The Trina Fund, a fund within the Women's Fund.  The Trina Fund helps Wisconsin women with breast cancer obtain the best possible care, primarily with transportation needs.  The Extend Awareness campaign donated more than $4,000 to The Trina Fund - thank you!

 Year-End Giving - It's Never Too Late!
