Autism Entrepreneurs Center March Schedule; Special Guest Speaker March 10
On Sunday March 10th, 1-3pm, we are pleased to announce we will have a very special guest speaker. Hayley Mitchell is 27 years old and has autism. She couldn't talk until she was 10 years old, couldn't read until she was 12 years old, and was deathly afraid of leaving her house. Through hard work and dedication and the support of her family, Hayley graduated high school at 20 and went to college at Southern Utah University (SUU). She was President of Elite Achievers at SUU. She has helped to put herself through college by working in the custodial department at SUU and at Deseret Industries. Hayley now is a junior at Dixie State College in St. George, Utah. Her major is Communications with a minor in American Sign Language. She has become an awesome public speaker and works to mentor other "learning capable" college students. In St. George, she works 12 hours a week at a grade school in the after school program, and also works as a peer counselor at the Redrock Center for Disabled Adults.
Hayley will share her story of hard work and success as the guest speaker at our Autism Entrepreneurs Center meeting on Sunday, March 10 from 1-3pm. There will be a Q&A opportunity after her talk. We expect space to be tight so please only adult AEC participants and adult family members.

Another compelling reason for our Autism Entrepreneurs Center - creating jobs and companies instead of waiting for them to be created.

How You Can Help Us
We are an early-stage company with an innovative model in a rapidly-growing market. We are always looking for people, money and ideas in the areas below. Call or email me if you think you can and want to help, or you have someone you want to refer/recommend.
- Funding - We are presently raising a $50,000 "Groundwork" round. Every $20, $50, $100 or more moves us that much closer to our goal of making this vision a reality.
- Board Members - Visit the Careers section of our website for details on the characteristics of the people we would like to consider joining our board.
- Advisory Board Members - We are looking for professionals in finance, tax credits, legal, planned community development, and fundraising to be part of a structured advisory board.
- Subject Matter Experts - We always want to hear from people who have extensive knowledge and experience in all areas related to residential development, and employment of adults with autism.
- Adults with Autism and/or their Families - Our best source of input and ideas comes from the persons and families who live every day with autism. You are the people for whom we are creating our communities.
Sincerely,
Mark L. Olson, President & CEO LTO Ventures
