AUGUST 2014
YOUR LETTER FROM HOME
Thanks for staying connected to Fort Lewis College.

Please let us know what you think of our communications. Your feedback helps us serve you better.

This months's offerings include S2E7 Fortifact: Cannabis, and an

interview with Durango's Mayor, Sweetie Marbury. Although both cannabis and alcohol are disallowed on the FLC Campus, Colorado's recent constitutional changes have created a boom rush of retail marijuana outlets in Durango and across the state. Learn about how cannabis prohibition developed in America, and hear Mayor Marbury talk about the decision to allow recreational marijuana consumption in town.

Happy August, everyone!
