JULY 2014
YOUR LETTER FROM HOME
Thanks for staying connected to Fort Lewis College. As you see, our newsletter format has changed substantially. This is to keep up with our alumni & friend's preferences in using mobile devices to view & read content.

Please let us know what you think.

This month's issue includes Fortifact S2E6: Beer with Ska Brewing,

and an interview with Margie Deane Gray, who has been helming the ship of Advancement for Fort Lewis College for more than six years, and will be transitioning from her post to take on the role of a Senior Gift Officer.

If you're planning on being in Durango over the 4th, don't forget to join Director of Alumni Services Dave Kerns and the Foundation crew up on the rim for our second annual Fourth at the Fort fandango, featuring

foot-long corn dogs and the best view of the fireworks in town! See his article in this issue for more details.

Happy Fourth everybody!

By this we mean giving students the opportunity to strengthen themselves intellectually, but also physically. It's that balance of mind and body that we feel leads to the happiest, healthiest, and best prepared graduates possible...
