Yes, we know. Taxes are the last thing you want to hear about in April. They're no fun. Well, in this episode, we set out to prove you wrong, with naked English noblewomen, revolution, and the Beverly Hillbillies! Then Chris Lyon and Kathy Elliot from FLC's School of Business Administration tell us all about VITA, a free tax help program that FLC's accounting students volunteer with. Now doesn't that sound better than fighting with Turbo Tax?

Funding for Bernt Hall GPE Building lost, then found 

House deal includes a possible $20.8 million for for new Geosciences, Physics and Engineering.

 

For the Durango college, it means the $20.8 million it expected to rebuild the last wing of Berndt Hall is likely to arrive after all. The Legislature's budget committee shocked Fort Lewis backers a week ago when it decided to leave the science building out of the state's $23 billion budget...

FLC Theatre "Avenue Q"

The Fort Lewis College Theatre Department will stage "Avenue Q," winner of the Tony "Triple Crown" for Best Musical, Best Score and Best Book. Written by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx, and directed by FLC's Kathryn Moller, Avenue Q is an "autobiographical and biographical" coming-of-age parable, addressing and satirizing the issues and anxieties associated with entering adulthood...
