With Dean Mullen (Biology '06, Engineering '13)
 
Late summer in Southwest Colorado means edible wild
mushrooms. But what to eat and what to shy away from? Fortunately, biologist and alumni Dean Mullen runs a class in mycology and mushroom identification every year for FLC Continuing Education. 

 

Dean generously agreed to share his wisdom about the mysterious myscilllium on this last episode of the 2013 Fortifact Summer Series.

John L. Smith  has coached football at schools all over the country, and even for an NFL team. In this chat, Coach Smith tell us why he he prefers to coach for for small schools, and his strategy for taking FLC Football to the top rung of the double A division.

Foundation Executive Director Margie Deane Gray interviews two members of the John and Sophie Ottens Foundation Board, Ginny and Henry Hooper. The foundation exists to serve native American Students in health and health education.
