FLC Visiting Professor of Theatre, Playwrighting-Danny Mitarotondo 
 
Mitarotondo is an Edward F. Albee Writing Fellow, a graduate of the Atlantic Acting School and New York University, and is currently a Master of Fine Arts grant recipient at Columbia University's School of the Arts. He directed FLC Theatre's production of Torture is Wrong and The People Who Love Them in 2012.

Shaila Van Sickle Publishes Whodunnit Set in Familiar Southwestern College 

 

Fort Lewis College English Professor Shaila Van Sickle has penned a mystery set at a small Southwestern liberal arts college.  Van Sickle wrote the novel with the help of her longtime friend and colleague Doreen Mehs, who passed away in 2009.

Center for SW Studies Traveling Mountain Lion Exhibit Hosts Alumni Reunion in Flagstaff, AZ.

 

You and your family are cordially invited to a private reception and tour of The Mountain Lion Exhibit on loan from the Fort Lewis College Center of Southwest Studies, to the Northern Arizona Museum

 

The event takes place on Saturday, March 2 from 2:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. The museum is located at 3101 N Fort Valley Rd  Flagstaff, AZ  (928) 774-5213.

 

The exhibit features dioramas, fossil representations of extinct cougar relatives, hands-on learning experiences, and the work of leading wildlife photographers including Robert Winslow and Claude Steelman.

 

This exciting exhibit will fascinate you and everyone in your family, from the moment you walk in!  We hope to see you there.
