This year, the AAa/e Foundation is offering scholarship awards in six categories:
1) High School Students Scholarship
2) Community College Students Scholarship
3) Undergraduate Students Scholarship
4) Post-Graduate Students Scholarship
5) Student Loan Support Grant for Recent Graduates
6) University/College Program Grant
Past recipients include students from Cal Poly Pomona, USC, SCI-Arc, Woodbury University, and UCLA to name a few. At the 2015 Annual Awards Banquet, 5 recipients received a total of $20,000.

MWD Luncheon a success!
12 sponsors, members and guest network with Metropolitan Water District Leaders
On Thursday, March 24, AAa/e members and guests learned about Metropolitan Water District partnership with the Sanitation Districts of LA County to build a new purification plant and distribution lines to groundwater basins in Los Angeles and Orange counties. Panelists Debra Man, P.E., Asst. General Manager/COO;John Bednarski, PE, Manager, Water Supply Initiatives Section; John Arena, Manager, Business Outreach Program explained Metropolitan's long-term Integrated Water Resources Plan to diversify regional water supply sources, advance conservation, and maintain imported supplies. Attendees learned about how purification to beneficially reuse water currently discharged to the Pacific Ocean will recharge our regional groundwater basins.
