 One image from the Evolution of Moral Progress - an 'animated installation' and an exciting collaboration with textile artist Karin Millson. Presented at Les Sage Fous Festival of Unfinished Works in Trois-Rivières, in September.

 Making shadow puppets at the
Calgary Mini Maker Faire  

We had lots of fun in September with a shadow puppet making station at the Calgary Mini Maker Faire. Lots and lots of kids dropped by to play with stuff and the ol' overhead projector and make their won shadow puppet.

THEMAA has created a "Manifeste 2013 pour les Arts de la Marionnette" which says in part:
"New dramaturgies associated with all types of puppets, but also manipulation of matter materials, objects and images have revolutionized the prejudices that sometimes characterized the art ". Check out the full document (French) at their website. Very interesting!
