for Puppet Power 2016.

You can help us shape the next conference by helping us determine:

• What shall we challenge puppets to help enlighten us with in 2016? 
• Puppets have so much potential to open our eyes to the world in new ways.  Shall we dig into Mental Health? Generational bridging?  Globalization?
• Who are our community resources? Our attendees? Our partners?

Our past conferences have explored the practical and inspirational use of puppetry in areas such as therapy, multiculturalism, literacy and social action. Our most conference in 2013 looked at puppetry's general fearlessness to tackle a range of issues.

Puppet Power conferences attract participants from all areas of the helping professions as well as educators, artists, activists and students. Our goal is to provide greater knowledge and increased comfort in using the medium of puppetry more frequently in various professional and community applications. Conferences provide inspiration, education and practical skills through keynotes, hands-on workshops, peer mentoring, panel discussions and more. They also offer many chances to dialogue with and meet our invited speakers in person, receive one-on-one help in workshops and make new friends from around the world.

The Puppet Power 2016 conference will take place in Calgary, Alberta, Canada on a weekend in the spring. Specifics will be determined as we move forward with our planning.
