Online Catalog Update: December 2 - 10
The eight public libraries of Jefferson County are joining the 16 public libraries of Waukesha County to become the new Bridges Library System. When the consolidation of the Jefferson and Waukesha County library catalogs is complete, you will have access to 2.3 million items! The catalog will be updated from December 2 - 10. During this time, the library catalog will be unavailable.
Between December 2-10:
You will be able to: * Visit the library during regular business hours * Check out all types of material, including e-materials * Use the library's website and Internet access * Keep your position in holds queues
You will NOT be able to: * Login to your account * View the online catalog from home or inside the library * Renew materials * Pay fines/fees* Place holds

Fifty new magazine titles were added to Flipster!
Flipster makes it easy to read your favorite magazines on your computer or mobile device. This month, 50 new titles have been added, making a total of 104 magazines available to you! New titles include: Architectural Digest, Bon Appetit, Conde Nast Traveler, Elle Décor, Flea Market Décor, New Yorker and Vogue. See the complete list of available titles!
If you prefer paper copies, our extensive magazine collection is still available any time the library is open.

Friends of the Waukesha Public Library
The year is coming to an end, and we look forward to another successful year in 2016. If you have not renewed your membership or wish to become a member of the Friends of the Waukesha Public Library, please complete a membership form and submit it to the Library.
If you are interested in volunteering at the library with the Friends, please fill out a volunteer application and return it to the library. The opportunities to volunteer are always expanding. Some events at which Friends volunteers helped in 2015 were Friends' membership drives, Waukesha Reads, Buchnerfest, art dedications and fundraising events.
Please check the Friends' link on the Library's website for upcoming events. Also, all are invited to join us for our bimonthly board meetings, held at 6:30 p.m. in the Library Board Room. Our next meeting is Monday, January 18, 2016.
