Doughnuts & Documentaries Series
Third Tuesday of Each Month at 10:00 a.m.

Join your friends and neighbors at Doughnuts & Documentaries, a new monthly series at Waukesha Public Library. Films on a variety of subjects will be shown. After each screening, those interested may stay to discuss the film's topic. Coffee and doughtnuts provided by Friends of Waukesha Public Library.

The City Dark begins the series on Tuesday, April 21 at 10:00 a.m. This film tells the story of one man's journey to discover the costs of light pollution and the disappearance of the night sky. This event is presented in collaboration with POV, a PBS award-winning nonfiction film series.

Waukesha Public Library now offers instant access to your favorite magazines through a digital magazine service called Flipster.  Just select Flipster from the library's database page and enter your library card number to get started browsing the online newsstand. 

Choose from popular titles like People, Cosmopolitan, Sports Illustrated, Time and many more. Curl up and view magazines through your Internet browser, or download the app to read offline on your favorite tablet anytime, anywhere. If you prefer paper copies, the library still has those too. Stop in and browse the extensive magazine collection in our periodicals reading room any time the library is open.
