Have you always wanted to write your life story? Would you like to explore your artistic side? Do you need to brush up on on your computer skills? Gale Courses offers hundreds of classes focused on professional development, technology skills and personal enrichment!
Beginning in January, every Waukesha County library cardholder will have access to Gale Courses! These are interactive, instructor led courses that you take online. These classes usually cost $99 each, but will be offered to Waukesha County residents for free! Courses run for 6 weeks and new sessions begin every month.

Recycling 101 Thursday, January 22 7:00 p.m. New cart, new collection system, new recyclables! Still have questions about the changes to Waukesha's recycling program? Are you familiar with the new list of recyclables and non-recyclable items? A Waukesha County staff person will answer these and any other questions you might have about the new recycling system. Action-Packed Birthday Comedy with Circus Boy
Saturday, January 17 10:00, 10:45 & 11:30 a.m.
Circus Boy blends comedic skills and circus acts. He has been known to ride a titanium unicycle & balance on a ladder while juggling with his mouth. According to Ripley's Believe it or Not!, he has ridden the world's smallest bicycle!
Character Birthday Activities
Saturday, January 17
1:30 - 4:00 p.m.
Celebrate your favorite book characters with games, crafts and activities. Birthday treats will be served. These  programs are sponsored by Friends of Waukesha Public Library.
Think- Build- Create! Thursdays, January 15 & 29 4:00 - 5:45 p.m. The Children's Program room will be turned into a Makerspace with materials available for children to explore, think outside the box, build, and create.
This is a drop- in program for Grades 2-6.
