2014

It is the vision of the Waukesha Public Library to provide
a welcoming and dynamic environment where citizens of all
ages can find the inspiration, ideas, and information

necessary to achieve their full potential.

@ YOUR LIBRARY

Library visitors with hearing loss are now finding Waukesha Public Library easier to use. The Library has installed a hearing loop at its Special Services desk. The hearing loop is an assistive listening system that transmits sound from a microphone directly to a hearing aid, via a tiny and inexpensive receiver called a telecoil (t-coil).

The hearing loop was provided by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services received by the Waukesha County Federated Library System.
