The Library offers summer reading programs for all ages! Registration begins Saturday, May 31.
Bubble Buddies Book Club
It's never to early to start reading to your child! This club is designed for children ages birth to 35 months. Parents can learn early literacy techniques and little ones can earn a book.
Fizz, Boom, Read
Open to children age 3 through those finishing 6th grade. Keep kids reading - and learning - this
summer!
Spark a Reaction
All teens have to do is read to be eligible to win prizes all summer long. This year's grand prize is a $100 Visa gift card. The winner will be announced at the End of Summer Lock-in on August 8. Check the teen Facebook page for updates and info!
Literary Elements
Why should kids have all the fun? Designed for ages eighteen and over, this independent reading program gives you the chance to read books, win prizes, and share recommendations over the summer.

Summer Book Discussions
2nd & 3rd Grade and 4th-6th Grade
Please register your child for the grade they will be entering in the fall. Discussions will be held in June and July. A full list of dates and titles for each discussion can be found in the Summer brochure. The books are generously funded by the Friends of the Library and are yours to keep.

The Library now offers scanning services with our new BOOKSCAN Station.You can scan to a USB stick, an email address, a smartphone/tablet, or to a Google Docs account. The Scan Station is very simple to use with a responsive touch screen interface that guides you through the steps for scanning. Stop by the Reference Desk today to learn more.

Bookplate Sale
Support the Friends of Waukesha Public Library with a 50th Anniversary commemorative bookplate. Purchase a bookplate for $50: $25 goes to the Library to purchase a book and *$25 goes to the Friends!
