  Adult Art Programs

Local artists share their passion and expertise during the month of March at the Art for All events. Adults of all artistic abilities may join us for just one or all four sessions which are held on  
Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. For more information, or to register, please call 262-524-3682 or stop at the Reference Desk.



Children's and Family Art Events
March is Youth Art Month. Art created by Waukesha School District students will be on display at the Library all month.

Youth Art Reception
Thursday, March 13, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
 Children's Program Area

Celebrate the creativity of our student artists and their teachers at this special reception. Music will be provided by members of the Waukesha South High School Orchestra and refreshments by the Friends of Waukesha Public Library.

Children's Program Area

This workshop will be devoted to sharing new and 'can't miss' books for young children. Library staff will present innovative and practical ways to use the best of this year's children's books, as well as some old favorites for curriculum connections, thematic tie-ins and sharing one-on-one with your child. Continuing Education credits available.

Drop by after school for iPad Game Day.
We will be playing iPad games in the Teen Zone from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Teens in grades 7-12 are invited!

Teen Tech Week Digital Scavenger Hunt
March 9 -15
Register at the Reference Desk.

Make a team of up to 4 people and pick up your Digital Scavenger Hunt check list at the Reference Desk during Teen Tech Week. Each item on the checklist is worth points. Find the items, photograph them and upload your photos to the WPL Teen Zone Facebook page.

All photos must be uploaded by midnight on Saturday, March 15.
The team with the most points wins Barnes & Noble gift cards!
