The Making of a Sled Dog Team
Monday, March 3, 6:30 p.m.
Two Door County Sled Dog mushers along with Boo Boo, their licensed therapy/sled dog, tell how 12 rescued dogs live both as
pets and working canines! You can pet Boo Boo and sit on a real dog sled.

Teen Tuesday: I <3 Bookmarks
February 11, 3:30 - 5:30 p.m.
Drop in to the Teen Zone after school and create up-cycled bookmarks out of old posters, books, and more! Snacks and supplies will be provided. All teens in grades 7-12 are invited!

Seuss-pendous Celebration! Parents and preschoolers will enjoy different hands-on early literacy activities during each class. Make a special project with your child to take home!! Registration Required. February 19 (Registration begins January 22) March 19 (Registration begins February 19) April 16 (Registration begins March 19)
Seuss-pendous Celebration!  March 1, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Families are invited to stop by throughout the day and revel in all things Seuss. Children will enjoy crafts, games, movies and plenty of books written by this favorite author.

Member ship Renewal: Just a reminder - Friends membership renewals are due now. Please continue to support the Friends through your membership by returning your renewal form and payment. The Library would not be able to offer the outstanding programs and services it does without the financial support of the Friends. Membership fees are very affordable: Senior memberships are just $5.00 and Individuals are $10.00.

Thank you! The Friends continue to be a major player in the success of Waukesha Public Library. In 2013, the Friends provided over $29,000 in funding that included support for Children's, Teen, and Adult programming, Waukesha Reads, as well as book discussion books.
