@ YOUR LIBRARY

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

One of the best ways to encourage learning and provide a solid foundation for school and learning success is to spend time sharing books with your child every day.

Babies and children not yet enrolled in Kindergarten are encouraged to participate in this new program, sponsored by the Friends of Waukesha Public Library. Stop by to learn more about the exciting early literacy activities that we have planned for you and your child.

Join us for a Kick-Off Party on Saturday, January 25 at 10:00 a.m. Enjoy a special storytime with Kathy Luck and her loveable puppet friends followed by a morning of fun and easy early literacy activities. No registration required.

Introducing a New Way to Search! - CaféPlus

CaféPlus allows you to simultaneously search the Library's databases, along with the catalog, to see magazine and newspaper articles in your search results - in addition to the books, DVDs, CDs and other library resources you are used to seeing already. Check out this short instructional video and give it a try today!
