@ YOUR LIBRARY

Tax Form Information

Waukesha Public Library will continue to be a local distribution point for state and federal tax forms, but they have not yet arrived. We have received word that, due to pending legislation, the tax forms will be shipped several weeks later than usual. We are estimating arrival by mid-February, but cannot be certain. The forms will likely be available online before we receive them here.

When they are available, state tax forms can be accessed online through the Wisconsin Department of Revenue and federal forms can be accessed on the IRS website. We will post an update on the Library website as soon as tax forms are available to pick up at the Library.

TOO GOOD TO MISS

 Mary Todd Lincoln

Wednesday, February 13, 7:00 p.m.

Mary, portrayed by Jessica Michna, will share her stories about growing up in Lexington, Kentucky, moving to Springfield, Illinois and then her life as Abraham Lincoln's First Lady. Michna is widely known for her compelling portrayals of historical women, among them Eleanor Roosevelt, Abigail Adams and Helen Keller.

Sundays with TED.com: On Being Wrong

  Sunday, February 24, 2:00 - 3:30 p.m.

Most of us will do anything to avoid being wrong.  But what if we're wrong about that? "Wrongologist" Kathryn Schulz, a journalist and author, makes a compelling case for not just admitting  but embracing our fallibility. Afterwards, Dr. Julie Helmrich will
help the audience examine their own thoughts on being wrong.
