I posted another article using DownScan to help understand sonar.
Bumps and globs are difficult to identify what they really are but DownScan is like a CT scan, it sharpens the details for easier interpretation.
The 3 arrows point out what we often struggle with.

Doctor Sonar classes will have a new outline for 2014. The class will teach you how to set-up your Humminbird and Lowrance, understanding sonar and GPS, the new mapping choices from Humminbird and Lowrance, the new forward looking sonar options and the new Vexilar SonarPhone.
No new classes scheduled at this time, I am working on adding 1-2.
I have too many projects now, I feel like a one armed paper hanger with tendonitis!
