Leadcore Line Trolling Tip

Understanding Sonar

I was trolling leadcore on Lake Mille Lacs for fish close to the bottom in the lake basin. Most of the fish I saw were close to the bottom so what should I do when I see this suspended fish? I was also testing a Salmo lure from Poland that has really impressed me.

Understanding DownScan Imaging

DownScan Imaging (DSI) is different than regular sonar. People that buy the Elite DSI struggle the most. I believe the Elite 5 HDI is a better choice since you have side by side 2D sonar and DSI to compare. This link has examples and explanations to help you understand how to interpret DSI. Once you learn how to interpret DSI you will understand what is below the boat much better. READ MORE
