I apologize for the delayed newsletter but I am in over my head with many business changes. I changed to an updated web site and eCommerce store last week. I also finished the Elite 7 DVD and I am updating some older DVDs to keep current with all the new changes in marine electronics.

I get a question on air bubbles often. this images shows what air bubbles coming off the bottom look like on sonar. I see this rarely but on a calm day if you watch the water you can see the bubbles when your sonar is showing them.

Facebook and new website

Doctor Sonar website has a new improved look. I figured out how to reduce the customers S & H fees especially for international sales.

New Elite 7 DVD

I finally finished the Elite 7 DVD.

DrDepth mapping software is sold

Bad news for anyone on the fence thinking of purchasing DrDepth. Per Pelin the owner has sold the product to Johnson Outdoors which owns Lakemaster, Minn Kota and Humminbird no further details are available.

The DrDepth site is still active for users to log in to update to the latest version and move the license to new computers if their computer fails.

It was a good run and I thank Per Pelin for his amazing creation that has benefited many people. If you want to create your own maps the Lowrance Insight Genesis is another option for Lowrance owners.
