Go Fishing, The Clock is Ticking

VDL Review

The first on the water fishing training school was a success. The resort staff and accommodations were excellent and the class format worked better than expected. The interaction with the class, seminars, dock seminars plus the on the water time worked well. The days are long but learning fishing requires lots of time. We started at 7 am and ended at 9 PM each day.

We already have 4 signed up for next year's school (September 26-29, 2013) contact Ed Tausk ed@vdl.com 800-325-5780 for details.

Johnnie Candle and Doc are planning for another similar school in SD in April, 2013 to be announced soon.

Lowrance HDS Touch Review

I have used the HDS Touch 7 for 3 weeks and I predict this is the future of our electronics. The i Pads and smartphones with touch screens have changed the world. Changing settings, marking waypoints, scrolling through menus is really fast. The HDS Touch 7 has the same features as the HDS Gen 2 models with a few few more. The HDS Touch can now draw a box around waypoints on the chart and export those selected waypoints. this is something we have be requesting for years. thank you Lowrance.

More reviews coming as I learn the secrets of the HDS touch.
