Kale Crazy Beef Recipes

Kale sure is getting a lot of attention lately. From chips to side dishes, the leafy green has made its way into many kitchens this year. We developed three triple-tested recipes that highlight kale's fiber, Vitamin A, and Vitamin C along with beef's powerful protein, iron and zinc. Talk about a nutrient-rich meal!

Beef Filets with Ancient Grain and Kale Salad is a complete meal for 550 calories and is an excellent source of fiber, protein, vitamins B6 and B12, iron, zinc and more! In fewer than 10 ingredients, you'll have a simply great plate full of important nutrients AND great taste.

Our Smoky Round Roast with Garlic Kale serves 8-12 people. Round Roast is one of the leanest cuts of beef so you can be sure no one will regret the calories after dinner! While the roast cooks in the oven, you can finish setting the table and prepare the easy sauted kale in the last 10 minutes.

Horseradish-Braised Pot Roast with Barley and Kale is comfort food without the guilt. One serving is less than 400 calories, yet it provides whole grains, vegetables and protein. The fork-tender beef is spiced up with horseradish while the kale wilts into your choice of barley or farro.

Fall Recipe Collections Bring Bold Flavors

Comfort foods, slow-cooked meals and tailgating bites. Our latest recipe collections feature the things you're craving the most this time of year. You'll also find bold flavors in surprisingly lean packages!

Our Tailgating Collection features game-day favorites like Spicy Cheeseburgers as well as big-flavored Beef and Blue Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms (Tip: try these with lean Ground Beef).

The Fall Comfort Foods Collection is full of savory dishes like Smoky Chipotle Pot Roast with Cornbread (a little chipotle powder adds lots of flavor) and a Beef Chili Five Ways, which highlights four simple variations to a classic chili-think Moroccan, Mexican and Italian!

Remember: you can add lots of flavor to foods with spices and fresh ingredients. You don't have to add fat or salt as flavor boosters. Start with delicious lean beef, add some bold flavors, serve with vegetables and grains-delicious and nutritious doesn't have to be complicated.
