HAPPY MARCH, FLASHERS!
Yep ...it's March already, and I haven't made much progress on my New Year's resolutions, except for one. My FLASH
publication schedule keeps me very busy each week, but I vowed to find more time to spend with friends making memories to last a lifetime! Last week I accomplished this in a big way! I told you in the last issue that I was going to San Francisco on a last minute trip with my friend Kathy from Miami. Off we flew and what a time we had!
I won't bore you with all of the details but suffice it to say we explored new territory, ate lots of yummy food, talked to locals, rode cable cars, laughed A LOT,  walked the crookedest street in the world, took in some incredible views, ate more yummy food and laughed some more as we fell in love with the city by the bay and on a hill!  If you have a trip planned to San Fran and you want my list of 'favorite things to do in San Fran'... shoot me an email and I will share.

March promises to be a busy and fun month. The printed FLASH Community Calendar has been distributed and you will see that it is very full as we approach the end of our winter season.  We'll soon be celebrating St. Patrick's Day, and for you basketball fans, you have the NCAA's 'March Madness' beginning on the 15th. The first day of Spring is March 20th and Easter is March 27th. There are a lot of other special days in March, but
some of them are pretty wacky, - like "Middle Name Pride Day," "Multiple Personality Day" and "Popcorn Lover's Day"  (For a list of them all, Click here.) One day that I particularly like is today, March 3rd, ... it's "I Want You To Be Happy Day." It's supposed to be an unselfish day when you do something to make others happy. All of us probably have someone we've been meaning to get in touch with,  so today's the day to do it.  Make that phone call, write that note, or send that card and brighten the day for someone you care about.  How easy it is to bring a smile to the face of others!  So...Do it! :)

Enjoy life~

SOME INVENTIONS BY WOMEN THAT CHANGED THE WORLD

They say that "necessity is the mother of invention," but apparently the reverse is also true...Mothers have invented many things out of necessity. Who but a mother would think to invent the disposable diaper, the cooking stove or the dishwasher! Ever since Tabitha Babbit invented the circular saw in 1812, women have been coming up with ideas to make life a little easier. For a long, but interesting list of female inventions, Click here

What Are Your Investment Fees?
In my 34 Year Career, it never ceases to amaze me that Investors do not know what they are paying in fees. Fees eating into your Investments is like flying with the flaps down, or rowing with the anchor out. Where else in your Life do you not know what you are paying for something?  Demand hard answers and math from your Broker. Find out three numbers ... to the penny ... because it's your Money:
.
a)  How much did you pay in fees in 2015 ? The actual dollar amount of your
     total fees.
b)  What is the percentage of your Portfolio that you pay in fees?  1%, 2%, 3% ...
     more?
c)  How much Money have your Investments already lost in 2016?
