Here is a list of 'Date Ideas' that will keep the spark of variety in your relationship ... And it is all in our own backyard! :)  Enjoy each other and our community!

1) Go to the Free Concert on Ocean Drive this weekend. You will enjoy it so much you will go back month after month.

2) Attend one of the monthly USA Dances at the Heritage Center. The March dance takes place on March 17th and the dance lesson will be the Fox Trot. Look for details on our calendar. 

3) Go to the Museum of Art for a gallery opening.

4) Check out the FLASH live music calendar and go enjoy a glass of wine and some great local talent.

5) Plan to go to an outdoor concert at Endless Summer Winery and Vineyard. Click here for schedule of upcoming concerts

6) Go to a play or a Comedy Zone night at Riverside Theatre.

7) Take a cooking class together.

8) Light candles, pour a glass of wine and Cook a meal together at home. Could be fun to follow YouTube videos to learn cooking skills that neither of you know: how to make crepes, a special sauce, or favorite dish you get when you go out, but that you've never cooked yourself, etc.

9) Stroll to the local 'Farmers Market' together on Saturday mornings on Ocean Drive

10) Plan to go to one of the monthly 'Gallery Strolls' on the first Friday of every month on 14th Avenue. If you haven't strolled 14th Avenue in downtown Vero in a while...you MUST! The galleries are incredible and the numerous restaurants have created a 'foodie district' that is worth your attention! 

11) Head to the beach and have a sand castle-building contest and get strangers to vote. 

12) Play people-watching bingo in the busiest place you know.

13) Take a free DIY class at our local Home Depot.  

14) Test drive your dream car or better yet...rent one for the day and take a drive down to palm beach. You might want to enjoy a cocktail and appetizer or a meal at The Breakers.

15) Grab a picnic blanket and a deck of cards and spend some time at a local park. 

16) Go to 'your romantic spot' and make out. For a really long time. This could be in a blanket fort that you make in your living room....Why not?

17) Grab a bag of googlie eyes and go 'eye bombing'!

18) If you don't have a 'couple song'... Decide on one tonight! 

19) During the fall...Go to a VBHS Football game and cheer on the local team!

20) Go to the ELC and enjoy a pontoon ride or canoe outing.

21) Invite another couple over for a game night.

22) Walk the beach and collect shells. Of course walk hand in hand! :)

23) Visit a nursing home and pass out flowers to everyone.

24) Pick up a pizza and eat it in the park.

25) Go to Kilwins on Ocean Drive and get the best ice cream and stroll down the Drive together as you enjoy your ice cream.

26) Read aloud to one another from a book, magazine or book of poems.

27) Make a list together of the top 10 things you like most about each other and then read your list to each other.

28) Schedule a surprise lunch date!

29) Grab a bottle of wine and head out to watch the sunset!

30) Go Fishing! Use your FLASH App and receive a discount at 

31) Volunteer together with Habitat for Humanity and sign up for a work day together.

32) Go to the Vero Beach Book Center and listen to one of the visiting authors.

33) Go rent a motorized kayak tour. Discount on the FLASH App.

34) Go on a conservation tour with Indian River Land Trust.

35) Plan a mystery trip for your love one. It can be a day get-away, a get-away weekend, or a fantasy trip!  Tell them what to pack and that's it! Then let the surprise unfold!
