Last week I spent a day by myself walking the National World War II museum in New Orleans and I'm glad I did. Not only is it a state-of-the-art museum, it is filled with history from the 1930's and 40's. The exhibits are easy to understand and include interactive exhibits. The one hour long 4-D film with Tom Hanks, Beyond all Boundaries, left me and others speechless! Should you visit New Orleans, I hope you will make this museum one of your destinations. To top it off, it has two restaurants (soda shop, canteen and nice restaurant with a bar!) I left the WWII museum feeling much gratitude for my freedom!
