LOOK 10-20 POUNDS THINNER INSTANTLY!
AND
TIPS & TRICKS TO MAKE YOU LOOK THINNER IN PICTURES!
According to PREVENTION magazine's special report GROWING YOUNGER, it's much better to wear your clothes loose rather than snug if you want to appear thinner. You should be able to insert the width of two fingers (about 1 1/4 - 1 1/2  inch) into a waistband. Pants and skirts are too small unless you can pinch out two inches of fabric.

If you want to learn how to look thinner in pictures....Click Here for some tips!

FLASH BEAUTY TIP OF THE WEEK
Sponsored by: Center for Facial Aesthetics      banner beauty tip

Healthy looking skin begins with Clarisonic

While cleansing is the first step in any skin care ritual, it is often overlooked. Typical manual cleansing can leave behind dirt and oil trapped in pores.  This build-up can damage the appearance and health of your skin and keep your skin care products from working like they should. Used and recommended by spas and dermatologists, Clarisonic Sonic Skin Cleansing Systems use a patented sonic frequency of more than 300 movements per second to gently, yet thoroughly removes makeup 6X cleansing with your hands alone.  Cleaner skin is the first step toward healthier looking skin.  And healthier looking skin is smoother, more radiant and more beautiful.

FLASH TIP OF THE WEEK

Stripped screws can find their way out with the help of a rubber band. A rubber band may aid in providing enough grip to remove, or at least loosen, the screw. Place a 'wide band' rubber band in between the screw driver (we recommend bumping one size up from the screw head which caused the strip) and the screw, then apply hard, but slow force as you turn. If you're fortunate, the rubber band will fill in the gaps caused by the strip and allow extraction.

1) Bring unused or expired prescriptions and Over-the-counter medication to one of the Locations listed for proper disposal and receive a $5 GIFT Card while supplies last.

THANK YOU FROM THE INDIAN RIVER SHERIFF'S OFFICE

The four previous events that we worked with DEA generated 2 million pounds (1,018 tons) of
unwanted/expired medication. This is a significant amount of medication out of the wrong hands and out
of our environment. Let's keep it up and bring those medications to one of the locations on the 27th!
CHECK YOUR DONATIONS!

Antique expert Terry Kovel offers this tip. "When downsizing or closing an estate, people often give many things to charity. But before you donate, be sure to search every pocket in clothing, inside and under every drawer, behind framed pictures, and inside purses." A Pennsylvania woman found $30,000 in the pockets of clothes that had been donated. There are also stories of diamond rings being hidden in pockets and valuable artwork being found behind less expensive pictures.

  RECIPE OF THE WEEK

PRETZEL PIE CRUST

There seems to be a special day for everything,...even pretzels! Tomorrow is National Pretzel Day, so here's a tasty way to celebrate it. Pretzel crusts are especially good with peanut butter and chocolate fillings, or used with tangy citrus pies like Key Lime.

INGREDIENTS

YIELDS 1 (9-INCH) CRUST

  • 1¼ cups finely crushed pretzels
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

Heat the oven to 350°F. Combine the pretzel crumbs, sugar, and butter in a medium bowl until well combined. Press the mixture evenly into a 9-inch pie pan. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the center is firm when pressed lightly. Cool completely before filling.
