RID YOUR HOME OF FLEAS
WITH EUCALYPTUS LEAVES
If your pet has ever been out of the house for a week or so, you may have developed a major flea problem while he was gone. Try this and it shouldn't happen again. Fleas don't want to be anywhere near Eucalyptus leaves. Try sprinkling these leaves around your home in many areas such as behind dressers or on shelves where children and pets can't reach them. It's a great way to keep fleas away from carpet. They simply hate the smell and the aroma will last for months. This inexpensive herbal way to stop fleas is usually found at most craft stores.

COMEDY ZONE @ RIVERSIDE THEATRE This Weekend MARCH 1st & 2nd SHOWTIMES AT 7:30 and 9:30 $18 EACH
SHAUN JONES Like an accomplished chef, Shaun's comedy performances combine a cup of truth, a spoonful of originality, and a double twist of humor. When he takes the stage, he mixes his talents before the audience, bakes his show just right and serves up a unique dish to satisfy everyone's laughter appetite. Shaun has made several television appearances on shows like B.E.T'S "Comic View," Black Starz "1st Amendment Standup", and Robert Townsend's "Partners In Crime-the next generation".
DAVID BECK Originally from a small town in Virginia, he now resides in Springfield, Missouri (Thanks to marrying the woman with the loudest laugh in the comedy club one night). Starting out as an observational comedian, he now has grown into a more versatile higher energy style which includes quick one liner's. He's silly, often thought-provoking, sometimes edgy, with social commentary. Never one to leave himself out of the show, everything in his personal life is fair game, his upbringing, everything he cares about and things he doesn't, and of course his experience with married life. David feels telling the truth about marriage is not negative, and men and women alike are entertained by his unique view of this relationship between the sexes.

FLASH BEAUTY TIP OF THE WEEK Sponsored by:
Why is exfoliating your face important?
1. Your skin care products will penetrate deeper and perform better.
2. Exfoliating keeps the skin soft and glowing. 3. Buffing the dead skin away will keep your pores from clogging which keeps acne under control.
4. Exfoliating speeds up your skins natural renewal process.
5. Removal of dead skin cells helps with skin discoloration (uneven tone). 6. Routine exfoliation leads to visibly brighter skin and it keeps fine lines and wrinkles in check. Ways to Exfoliate
Physical Exfoliants -Over the counter scrubs and "buff puffs" can be irritating to the skin. Micro tears in the skin can results from aggressive use of physical exfoliants so are not recommended for home use. Chemical Exfoliants - These are products that contain ingredients like AHAs (alpha hydroxy acid), glycolic acid and salicylic acid. These are chemicals that help to peel off the dead outer layer of the skin and speed up the production of new, fresh skin. Pros: They work well and are easy to use. Cons: These can be irritating to skin (especially if you have sensitive skin to begin with). In particular, AHA's can make your skin more sensitive to sun exposure. Hand Held Cleansing Devices - Clarisonic, the Sonic Skin Cleansing System uses a patented sonic frequency of more than 300 movements per second to clean, soften and smooth skin. In just 60 seconds, the brush gently, yet thoroughly removes 6X more makeup and 2X more dirt and oil than manual cleansing alone. Pros: They work very well, are easy to use (you can do it in the shower!) and are gentle enough to use every day. Cons: There is an expensive up-front investment (Clarisonic Mia $99) Bottom LineAll of these methods are great ways to exfoliate in order to keep skin looking and feeling softer, smoother and younger. Consult with your esthetician for specific recommendations for your skin type and condition.
