To all our dedicated volunteers, THANK YOU!

Literacy DuPage: Elva and Gert
 Gert & Elva

"Gert has helped me a lot with writing, reading and speaking. Before I started the program, I felt so afraid that I would pick up the phone and hear someone speaking in English. Now I don't feel so afraid."

Join us in celebrating National Library Week, April 12-18

Dozens of volunteer tutor training series and in-service workshops happen annually
at a library.

Thousands of English tutoring sessions with adult learners have taken place
at a library.

Countless resources are available for English learners
at a library.

At Literacy DuPage we know there are plenty of reasons to be thankful for our local libraries. Be sure to express your gratitude for libraries next week and share what you (or your learner) has been able to do with the help of a library on Twitter or Facebook!
