On November 1st our community will take part in celebrating Random Act of Kindness Day. This day has been earmarked by the Community Foundation of Northwestern Alberta as a day to inspire kindness and philanthropy in Grande Prairie and the region. The response to the Random Act of Kindness campaign last year was bigger than we could have ever imagined.

Random Act of Kindness Day cards and buttons will be circulating around our region. We would like to invite your business to be a part of this day by being an active participant in paying it forward with simple acts of kindness

There are many ways that your business can get involved and inspire kindness. Show your support on November 1st by handing out the RAK Cards to others and getting others involved, wearing the color of teal, wearing the RAK button provided in your kit and displaying the RAK posters in your business.

You can:

Pay it forward to your employees by treating everyone to donuts and or sending an e-card to show them how much you appreciate them.

Pay it forward co-worker to co-worker by sharing your "to die for" cookies with each of them.

Pay it forward to someone you don't even know perhaps, purchasing a meal for a homeless person.

Everyone can pay it forward by smiling, making eye contact and saying hello to everyone you meet. There are so many more ways we can all promote the day and have fun at the same time!
