As superintendents of our three local school districts, you have received an invitation from the Community Foundation of Greater Grande Prairie to our Vital Youth & Young Adult Café on March 1, 2013 from 8:45am to 3:00 pm.

We welcome you to also invite another school district employee that you feel would be a good fit as a participant. This might be a principal, counsellor, teacher - any individual of your choice.

We would also like to have 8-10 student participants (ages 15+) from each of the local high schools - Peace Wapiti Academy, St. Joseph High School and the Composite High School. As you know which of your students would be a strong voice for young people at this event, we would invite you to select the student participants at this event.

We are looking for a diverse group of students that would be a strong voice for young people who live, work or go to school in Grande Prairie. We would like to have the opinions of young people with different cultural backgrounds, gender identities, experiences, and ideas.

Please let us know by February 22 the names and number of students (8-10 per high school) that will be attending. We will be providing lunch and refreshments during the day.
