Day 16:  Goals for 2013

  
This Sunday we're going to put your 2013 goals on the altar, pray over them, submit them to the Father, and take Communion over them.  But, first you must write them down.
  
Harvard did a study which showed that of those who verbalized their resolution just one time, 25% saw their resolution come to pass.  Of those who wrote them down 85% saw their resolution come to pass.  When they dated it that rose to 88%.
  
However, of those who spoke their resolution every morning and every night, 99% of them saw their resolution come to pass!  So, what are you going to do this year?
  
I encourage you.  Write down your 2013 Faith, Fitness, Family, Fellowship, Finance and Fun goals.  Then make them S.M.A.R.T (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Time-bound).  For instance, "Get in shape" is not a SMART goal.  But, "Join a health club and workout 3 days a week to lose 1 pound a week for a total weight loss of 25 pounds by June 1st" is a SMART goal.
  
Bring your goals to church on Sunday and we will submit them to our Father, Who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think!
