Romans 8:12-14 NLT
"Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, you have no obligation to do what your sinful nature urges you to do. For if you live by its dictates, you will die. But if through the power of the Spirit you put to death the deeds of your sinful nature, you will live. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God."
Ahhh, Day 3. I'm feeling good, both physically and spiritually. I really like where God has me right now.
Yesterday (in the natural) I had a headache all day and my eyes were hurting. These were natural, bodily responses to the toxins and poisons being purged from my body. However, it's worth it to demonstrate spirit mastery over flesh.
How will you ever know if flesh is ruling unless you restrict it? Likewise, how will you ever know that God is a provider if you've never lost a job, or steady income?
Already, I can sense that my faith level has risen. I sense an elevated level to believe God for things now that last week there was doubt over. That's what prayer with fasting will do.
I want to encourage you to come to church tomorrow. Don't let anything stop you, including yourself. God has an on-time Word relating to your success in 2013. And it's related to your choices. I'll be preaching a message entitled, "Protecting Your Chooser."
