Typical meeting.  Just like any other Friday afternoon meeting. 

Except all of a sudden a co-worker (who was joking just a minute before) fell into an uncontrollable seizure.  We were all shocked, but proceeded to help him while someone called 911.

I laid hands on him and prayed while a couple of others helped him stretch out on the floor.  The seizure lasted about 7 minutes.  Then he was groggy, couldn't talk, and was incoherent.  Within 15 minutes as the paramedics arrived he was coherent and could recognize his girlfriend.  When they left to take him to the hospital he partially got on the stretcher by himself.

In Matthew 17:15 a father brought his son to the disciples because he often fell into seizures.  But they couldn't help him.  When they inquired of Jesus why they could not He responded,

"This kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting."  Matt 17:21 NKJV

Is it possible that prayer time in my closet last night provided extra anointing for this young man today?  Prayer with fasting works!
