CAMP GRANTS & SCHOLARSHIPS
The Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta is currently accepting applications for the Needs Based Camp Scholarships (applications due January 30, 2016) and One Happy Camper First Time Camper incentive grants.
First and second year One Happy Camper Grants provide up to $1000 off the cost of camps. The Needs Based Financial Assistance program helps families in metro Atlanta with the cost of camp tuition. Camp scholarships are based on financial need. Please go to Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta to learn about eligibility for the First Time Camper Grant and the Needs Based Scholarships.
The Federation is also thrilled to announce the relaunch of its camp full scholarship program. Thanks to a number of extremely generous gifts, we are able to award 25 full scholarships to families in need this year. We are reaching out to JF&CS, as well as local rabbis, to send referrals of eligible families to Sami Tanenbaum, our Community Camp Ambassador. Below are the criteria for families who qualify as a referral for full scholarships.
Before a family is referred to Sami Tanenbaum, they should be directed to fill out a scholarship application. The deadline for referrals and applications is January 30, 2016. Visit www.atlantajewishcamp.org to learn more and contact Sami Tanenbaum at 678-222-3730 with questions.
