A Year In Review
Last year's newsletters can be summarized into three segments. The topics included fundamentals of G.A.P.B.S., tips for stretching and strengthening the body, and the book club highlighting newly released PGA tour stats as well as a guide to training the mind. For further review on any of these topics, please reference the Newsletter Archives on our website.
In 2015, the newsletter tips will focus entirely on short game magic! Each month will highlight a different type of golf shot inside of 60 yards--from low running chips to high flying pitches. Greenside bunker execution using assorted wedges for distance and trajectory control will also be covered. You will learn to hit the putt chip with your hybrid as well as how to lob it with an 8 iron.
We look forward to discussing fundamentals such as ball location; stance width; gripping up or gripping down; to set up open, closed, or square; and even such topics as when to raise the handle or lower the handle at address. We will have fun with when to open or square the clubface at address and when to open or close the clubface through the ball.
I guarantee there will be a short game shot or two that you will learn this year that will truly help lower your scores. If you ever get confused please send me an email, and I will do my best to add clarity to your question.
